The developers ofPokemon Gohave announced one of the big events for February 2025, with “Small Yet Strong” featuring lots of Bug-typePokemonfor players to chase.

TheBug-typesof the mainline Pokemon games were unfairly maligned for a long time, mostly due to a poor showing in the Gen 1 and 2 games. Having powerful Bug-types would have been a great counter for the dominant Psychic-type, but Game Freak decided to give them all bad stats and even worse moves.
