April is an exciting month for Pokemon GO players! Whether players enjoy battling legendary Pokemon (likeKartana,Celesteela,Registeel, &Tapu Bulu), Mega Pokemon (likeMega Charizard X,Mega Aggron, &Mega Heracross), or Shadow Pokemon (likeShadow Entei), there are quite a few Raids to look forward to. Each Raid type is broken up into its own category below!
Five-Star Raids
Five-Star Raids are the premier Raid type in Pokemon GO. This is where players can catch powerful legendary Pokemon and Ultra Beasts. The Five-Star Raids this month are pretty great, with two Ultra Beasts (KartanaandCelesteela) making an appearance.Tapu BuluandRegisteelwill round out the second half of the month with each Pokemon sticking around in Raids for about two weeks.

Players have a lot to look forward to with the Mega Pokemon appearing in Raids during April 2024.Mega Charizard XandMega Aggronwill return and both have their shiny forms available.Mega Heracrosswill also make its debut on April 13! This is an exciting addition and has been awaited by many fans.

Shadow Enteiwill appear during the weekends in April! Last month, Shadow Raikou was around and gave players some real trouble, but Shadow Entei should be much easier to tackle due toits Fire-typeand readily accessible weaknesses.

Raid Hours will be happening throughout April and will give players the chance to get their hands on some strong Pokemon. The reason Raid Hours and Raid Days are so great is that it gives players a pre-determined time frame to tackle these Raids so they can ensure they have the chance to catch them before they leave Raids. All Raid Hours will happen on Wednesdays from 6 pm to 7 pm local time.

There will only be one Raid Day in the month of April. This isn’t a sad fact, however, because the Raid Day will mark the debut ofMega Heracross! This is a fantastic Bug-type Mega Pokemon and to make this encounter even better, its pink shiny form will be available at the time of the Raid Day!
