Can You Catch A Shiny Hoppip?

Players will be able to catch a shiny Hoppip during the Spotlight Hour and evolve it into a shiny Skiploom! Both shiny Pokemon can be seen in the images above so players know what to keep an eye out for, though neither is easy to miss. The shiny Hoppip and Skiploom invert their colors, making them extremely sought after. Players can evolve their Hoppip into Skiploom using25 Hoppip Candy, an extremely easy task to accomplish with this event’s Spotlight Hour Bonus!

Spotlight Hour Bonus

During the Hoppip Spotlight Hour, players will receive double Candy for catching Pokemon. This will be active for any Pokemon caught during the Spotlight Hour, but players mostly find Hoppip since their spawns will be greatly increased during the event. No matter which Pokemon they catch, double Candy isn’t something players should pass on, as these can be used to evolve several Pokemon during future events where XP from evolving Pokemon is doubled.
