The game I’m referring to is Blue Prince, a puzzle game by Dogubomb. Believe it or not, this unheard-of game is now the highest-reviewed game of the year so far. It’s currently sitting at a 91 score onOpen Critic, and 92 onMetacritic.
If you’re unfamiliar with the game, I don’t blame you. It’s a title that hasn’t made waves, and a genre that’s rarely given fanfare. According to publisher Raw Fury, the Blue Prince “combines compelling mystery, strategy, and puzzle elements to create an unpredictable journey through Mt. Holly, a peculiar manor with ever-changing rooms. Players must chart their own path through chambers harboring secrets and challenges in their quest to find the enigmatic Room 46.
