PlayStationhas revealed six new titles coming toPS VR2when it launches on February 22, all of which are in development at various Japanese Studios. The catalogue of new games announced for the headset includes one of PS2’s first-party games, Fantavision. Titled Fantavision 202X, the iconic puzzle game is being developed by Cosmo Machia in Unreal Engine.

Revealed in aPlayStation blog post, Fantavision will return in an all-new title for PS VR2 earlier next year. For those unfamiliar, Fantavision is a puzzle game that requires players to combine shooting and strategy with easy-to-pick-up controls. The core gameplay of the classic PS2 title will remain intact, as players will be tasked with catching at least three fireworks with the same color and shooting them to start a visual feast. They can also catch fireworks with different colors and shoot them with a daisy chain. Players can change the camera’s viewpoint, add effects, and stop time in replay mode.

Altair Breaker, a multiplayer sword-action game has also been revealed for PS VR2, allowing players to utilize full 360-degree movement and leverage vertical space during combat. Players will team up with up to three friends to explore an AI-created world and fight against machines. Exploration will also feature, as players can climb and glide around the world.

The Tale of Onogoro is another game heading to the VR headset later in February 2023. The game combines traditional Chinese culture with steampunk elements in a co-op tale structure. Players will solve riddles, explore the island of Onogoro, and fight beasts terrorizing the Hal forces. Kizuna AI - Touch the Beat, on the other hand, is among the PS VR2 titles that will be available on its launch day. It is a rhythm game that features 15 songs by YouTuber Kizuna AI, allowing players to use DualShock 4, DualSense, and PS VR controllers to spend time with Kizuna on the stage.

The list of games coming to PS VR2 also includes the story-based investigation game Dyschronia: Chronos Alternate and tactical shooter X8, the latter of which does not have a firm release date yet.
