WhilePersona 5 Scrambleis taking place in Summer, the Sapporo Jail is all frozen over. Producer Kaneda mentioned Sapporo Jail is the third Jail in the game, meaning it’s mid-level. The battle part showed us some Makoto and Haru action especially.

Producer Kaneda also explained how it’s extremely hard to recover SP in the game, so if you run out of SP, it’s better to leave the Jail, just like what you’d do in otherPersonagames.

We also learned that you can restart from the last battle if you get a game over, and you can switch the game’s difficulty in the System menu at any time. There are Easy, Normal, and Hard difficulties, but it seems like there are other difficulty levels than these three. The gameplay sequence was played on Normal by the way. The other options include things like disabling vibrations, subtitles, damage numbers, and guide indications. You can also change the luminosity.

We also learned that the bonusPersonaseries BGMs included in first print copies of the game can be set with a random playing order, to get a different BGM each battle. Moreover, if you getPersona 5 Scrambleon PS4 and have a save fromPersona 5orPersona 5 Royal, you’ll unlock Last Surprise and Take Over as BGMs. Meanwhile, on Switch, you’ll unlock both BGMs if you have ever playedSuper Smash Bros. Ultimateon the same console. This is pretty funny as you could saySmash Ultimateis the otherPersonagame on Switch.

Atlus also published a short gameplay video on Twitter, showcasing a cool Makoto combo:
