Aftermonths of leaks and speculation, it was announced at the Xbox Games Showcase that thePersona 4remake is real and is launching on Xbox platforms. This remake is called Persona 4 Revival, and unfortunately, very little was confirmed about its existence.
Persona 4 Golden, the updated version of the original game, is readily available on modern platforms. However, Atlus has been remaking its older titles of late, with Persona 3 Reload overhauling the original experience and modernizing it.

Consume Me Looks Like Persona Mixed With WarioWare
Consume ME is an upcoming Steam title that combines the scheduling of the Persona series with the wacky minigames of the WarioWare franchise.
Several voice actors from the original game have confirmed that there is a Persona 4 Remake in development and thatthey won’t be involved. It was announced during the Xbox Games Showcase on The Game Awards YouTube channel that the Persona 4 Remake is on the way, called Persona 4 Revival.

The Persona 4 Remake Is On The Way
Persona 4 Revival showed a brief glimpse of a revived Inaba town, with the protagonist running around the city, and a few glimpses of TVs corrupted by evil. What was confirmed is that, like Persona 3 Reload, Persona 4 Revival is coming to Xbox Game Pass on launch. However, there’s currently no word on a release date.
If the game is anything like Persona 3 Reload, it should have QoL features, but not much in the way of brand-new content. If the voice actors concerns are legit, then that means it should also have a whole new cast.

Frankly speaking, Persona 4 doesn’t need a remake, or at least not to the same degree that Persona 3 did. It’s an excellent game, and the modern ports of Persona 4 Golden do a good enough job of updating it to modern platforms. Still, those who have yet toexperience this classichave the best reason to do so via the remake.
