As a character-based shooter,Paladinshas several similarities to games like Overwatch and Team Fortress 2. Though the setting certainly makes it stand out. The game features44 different championsfor you to play and master. ConsideringPaladinsis a free-to-play game, that’s quite a few characters for you to unlock. Fortunately for new players, when you pick the game up via the EGS, you’ll get access to four champions right out the gate.Paladinshas four basic classes each champion falls into: front lines, damages, supports, and flanks. The free champion bundle gives you one of each, along with one of each, complete with a skin for each and a free diamond chest.
If you’re on the lookout for a new shooter to play,Paladinsmight be worth a shot. Personally, I’ve only put limited time into the game; however, its deck-building system is an intriguing system to add to a shooter. It might be a bit much for some players, but those that want to dig in will find a system ripe for customization.
Paladins: Champions of the Realmis available now on Nintendo Switch, PC, PS4, and Xbox One. For a limited time, you’ll get a free starter pack of sorts when you buy the game on the Epic Game Store.
