Genshin Impacthas a new photo event ongoing right now, Outside the Canvas, Inside the Lens, with several parts, here are tips to clear all the parts out so far as of April 3 Asia server, from Legend of the Wind Knight to The Fable of Qingce Village.

Outside the Canvas Inside the Lens general tips

The Outside the Canvas Inside the Lens event is extremely easy and straightforward. The one thing that can cause you problems though is finding what are those Photo-Taking Points that the game is referring to.

Each part of the event has instructions given to you by Asagiri. You can read these instructions with her notes in the Event menu, and she will always ask you to have specific Photo-Taking Points in the photos you take.

How to find Photo-Taking Points

Photo-Taking Points are elements of the scenery which will be circled by blue circles. You need to equip your Kamera first by accessing the inventory menu and the Gadget page, then go to the photoshoot point shown on your map, and interact with it. When you do, the game will show you the Photo-Taking Points that you must include in the photo.

There are other instructions you must follow, like making your character face a certain direction or taking the picture at a certain time of the day.

The Proper Use of Thunder, Lightning and Blades

You need to take the picture of an Electro character during an Elemental Burst/Q. Don’t pick a 5-star character because the Q cutin will move the camera. The trick here is to do it with a character who has an Elemental Burst that goes on over time. For example Beidou, Razor, or The Raiden Shogun. You just need to trigger their Burst and then have several seconds to take your photo calmly.

The Fable of Qingce Village

Here’s the photo I took for The Fable of Qingce Village part. You need to wait for your character to start an idling animation. The game notifies you by checking it in the list at the left of the screen so you can’t miss it.

By completing this Outside the Canvas, Inside the Lens Event,Genshinplayers will get 420 Primogems in total, so it’s definitely not something you should sleep on, especially with how easy of an event it is.
