The theory states that Luffy will suffer his first-ever defeat in Gear 5 form due to him fighting two powerful enemies, Kizaru and Saturn, both at once, which will deplete his stamina and result in his defeat.

It seems incomprehensible for Luffy to be defeated by the likes of Saturn and Kizaru since he managed to triumph over a Yonko, but Luffy may not come out of this fight as a winner.
The latest theory acknowledged byOne Piecefans states that despite being a compelling character in his Gear 5 form, Luffy would still be defeated in his current fight against Kizaru and Saturn.
According to the theory, Gear 5 depletes a lot of energy and Haki, and despite Luffy having higher reserves than standard characters, he will eventually run out of gas. The major drawback for Luffy in this fight is that he is fighting two powerful opponents at once.

If the fight had been 1v1, there is no doubt about Luffy’s victory, but Saturn and Kizaru are a deadly combo. Another reason why this theory holds merit is due to Luffy’s Vivre Card.
As you might know, Luffy had his Vivre Card made by Sabo and distributed among the Straw Hat Grand Fleet towards the end of the Dressrosa arc. If Luffy gets defeated and is taken into custody by the World Government, the Grand Fleet of Straw Hats would be dispatched to get their captain back.
Since their formation, the Grand Fleet has yet to be in action; Luffy’s capture might set the stage for the crew to come together and launch an all-out attack against the World Government.
