By the looks of it, this character will play a crucial role in the pirates’ hunt for the One Piece. Finding this man will even better the chances of an individual finding the treasure. But who exactly is this man, currently being pursued by everyone?

In chapter 1056 ofOne Piece, Eustass Kidd talked about aman marked by flames. Kidd also hinted that in the race for the titular treasure, finding the man keeps you a step ahead of the rest. Some more information about the guy was revealed by the Blackbeard Pirates in chapter 1081, where they mentioned that one of the four Road Poneglyphs is believed to be in the possession of the man with a burn scar.
They also speculated that the man rides in an all-black ship that swallows his enemies in a gigantic vortex if they get too close. In fact, he might also be loyal to the World Government. If the WG held one of the poneglyphs, no pirate would be able to recover the One Piece. Other speculations from the crew stated that the swallowing of ships might also be the work of a Devil Fruit user.
