While graphics cards were mostly used to beef up your PC to feature the best visuals and to max your rig, the uses for these products have changed a fair bit in recent years. Nowadays, graphics cards (or video cards) are used for video editing, graphics production, AI (Artificial Intelligence), crypto mining and more.
One company that’s reaping a ton of money from all this is chipmaker Nvidia. The tech giant has a current market cap of $3.33 trillion, an increase of over 170% from the previous year.

Even with that insanely staggering number, the company’s CEO, Jensen Huang, thinks they are still a “small company.”

Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang Says There Are No Acquisitions Planned
Huang was congratulated on the company’s fantastic year, and how they are still leading the industry by at least two years. It was also mentioned that the company “defined a new era for computing.” In aninterview with media, when asked if it was now time for Nvidia to start considering building infrastructure for power generation and whatnot, Huang gave a more restrained answer.
Huang states, “Nvidia’s rule is to only do things that others haven’t done, or things we can do much better. So the bar for what we start doing is actually very high. That’s why we don’t consider ourselves an old, established company. The reason we do what we do is because if we don’t build NVL72, who will? Who has the capability to build it? If we don’t build switches like Spectrum X, who can do it?” Huang adds, “Despite having 32,000 employees, we are still a relatively small company. We are still a small company, and we need to ensure our resources are highly focused on areas where we can make a unique contribution.”

Developer Krafton plans to implement AI NPCs based on Nvidia tech.
Perhaps Huang is right when it comes to actual employees, in the sense that 3200 people isn’t that many compared to the likes of Google, Apple, and other tech giants. But when it comes to valuation? Yeah, they are one of the highest in the entire world.

Further pushing that valuation up is the recent reveal of the new video cards from Nvidia, with theRTX 5090being the cream of the crop. More details about itare available here, as part of a packaging leak from earlier this month.
