Things are finally getting a bit more contentious on the weekly UK sales chart as far as new releases go, with 2018’s biggest titles finally beginning to fall a bit more.
For this past week, the biggest launch new arrival was that of Bandai Namco’sAce Combat 7: Skies Unknown, which had a strong debut. In its first week,Ace Combat 7ended up topping out at number 2 on the UK charts, falling only behind that ofNew Super Mario Bros. U Deluxe. This is now the second straight week in which Nintendo’s Wii U port ofNew Super Mario Bros.has ended up at number one.
As for other notable listings this week, well, there really weren’t any.Red Dead Redemption 2,Call of Duty: Black Ops 4, andFIFA 19have again rounded out the top 5, which should come as no surprise. The only other notable listing to appear on this week’s list is that ofResident Evil 7. Clearly, some fans are trying to catch themselves upbefore the launch ofResident Evil 2tomorrow.
