Netflix’sThe Witcherseason two has had its fair share of complications of late. After having to halt production due to COVID-19, season tworesumed filmingagain in August but now it seems that this deadly virus is back again to make things more complicated on the set ofThe Witcher. Thue Rasmussen, the actor who played Eskel inTheWitcherseries, had to drop out of the show because the schedule got changed due to the coronavirus with actor Basil Eidenbenz then taking his place. Thankfully though, the much-anticipated season two seems to be well underway and today, we get a first look at Henry Cavill, who plays Geralt of Rivia, in his brand new threads.
In the images shared by showrunner for Netflix’sThe Witcher, Lauren S. Hissrich, and also the official Twitter account for the series we see Henry show off some swanky new armor. His black attire adorned with a leather breastplate and held together with later straps and studs looks like Geralt is ready for a whole hell of a lot of trouble and he sure does fill it out rather well, too. Netflix’sThe WitcherTwitter accountalso shared a few words of wisdom to go along with Geralt’s new look. “His emotional shield can ward off any charmer, but his trusted sword he’ll wield will be matched with new armour.”
