After being tight-lipped for years, Netflix finally announced the release date of the live-actionCowboy Bebopseries. The creators also revealed some photos of the upcoming show. And ever since the show’s first look came out, fans want to know which actor plays Vicious in the live-action adaptation.
Cowboy Bebopis an upcoming American live-action series based on a Japanese anime series of the same name. The show follows the journey of a Bounty Hunting crew traveling across the solar system on their spaceship, ‘Bebop.’ The anime series debuted in Japan in April 1998 and featured a total of 26 episodes.
Developed by André Nemec and Jeff Pinkner, the first season of ‘Cowboy Bebop’ live-action series will feature 10 episodes. And the entire community is eagerly waiting to find out if the Netflix show would live up to the anime’s reputation.

According to Netflix’s official announcement, English actor Alex Hassell is taking on the role of Vicious in theCowboy Beboplive-action series. The actor is known for his incredible work in several Tv shows, including his portrayal of Translucent inThe Boys.
Alex will star alongside John Cho (Spike Spiegel), Elina Satine (Julia), Mustafa Shakir (Jet Black), and Daniella Pineda (Faye Valentine).

Vicious is the main antagonist in theCowboy Bebopanime series. He is the Red Dragon Crime syndicate’s leader and was once a friend of Spike Spiegel, the story’s protagonist. However, he chose to become Spike’s enemy after they fall in love with the same woman, Julia.
Things turn ugly when Vicious catches Julia and Spike together. And eventually, he becomes the reason why Spike leaves the Syndicate by faking his own death. Also, because of his cunning and betraying nature, Vicious is referred to as a venomous snake.
