Each character has a reason to be there and brings something to the table. However, some stand above others.
10Master Of Mercies
Being one of the believers, the Master of Mercies is not someone you interact with directly. However, the voice acting of the character is enchanting. His evil persona slowly unveils itself before you as he speaks at the start of each day.
Master Of Mercies might not be a prominent character in the overarching story, but he plays an important part nonetheless.
9Neon Violet
Neon Violet is one of the interactable characters in the game. She is a mischievous young character who looks for attention however she can. Her character arc in the story is interesting to follow and keeps the viewer hooked.

Violet’s violent tendencies, combined with her cute persona and incredible voice acting, make her a fan favorite. She is a mix between a tsundere and a yandere, hating it when you pay attention to someone else and doing her best to pretend she doesn’t care about it.
A mysterious figure in the background of the game, God’s character, isn’t explored very well. However, tidbits of his existence are teased as you go through the game, and the plot twist relating to him is an interesting one for sure.
Considering the close relationship you start to have with God in the show, rest assured it isn’t a metaphorical or religious one. He is a vital part of the story, which serves to push forward the main conflict.
Raz is an interesting character — an angel who runs a bar for Neons. Unlike other angels, Raz is quite sympathetic toward Neons and is trying to learn everything there is about mortals and Neons.

In the story, all the interactions with Raz are fun and bring a fresh element into the game. The decor of his bar is a breath of fresh air as well compared to the ethereal vision of heaven.
6Neon Green
The big baddie of the game, Green, is quite an enigmatic character. He starts off as nothing but a mindless brute who works for the angels and stays in heaven. However, the layers slowly peel away, and he starts to show his true colors later in the series.
Since he is the main villain, there are quite a few fights against Green. Players agree that these fights can be a bit tedious at times, but the interactions with his character are interesting, to say the least.
5Neon Yellow
Yellow is the most fun person in the game. Although he dies at the start of the game (end of Chapter 4), he leaves a lasting impact, both on the main character and the actual player. He has an infectiously extroverted personality and brings out the cheery side of the introverted White. His death leaves an impact on the main character, leading to him seeking out Neon Green for revenge later on in the game.
Gabby is a cheeky angel who works as the receptionist for Mikey. She appears in the form of a talking cat, as do the other angels, and seems to be sitting on a floating cloud. Her sassy dialogue, deadpan delivery, and relatively major role in the game make her one of the fan-favorite characters.
Neon Red is the main love interest in the game. It is obvious that there is some history between the main character and Red through their dialogues, but the details are a bit murky. She is the character the player interacts with the most. She accompanies White on several missions, sacrifices herself several times, and helps him throughout his journey. She is his biggest supporter, and she has an interesting personality.

The main character of the game, Neon White, is an enigmatic fellow. At the start, it is revealed that he is suffering from amnesia. As the game progresses, the player starts to piece together his backstory by completing side missions.
He has a cool character design that leans into the edgy side, and so does his personality. The voice acting behind the character fits him perfectly, and his use as a medium of storytelling is superb.
Being avisual novel-style game, Neon White relies heavily on its interesting dialogue to keep the story moving forward. And Mikey provides plenty of that. He has a fun, quippy personality. He appears in the form of a flying cat with a cigar in his mouth and sunglasses. His actual angel form is revealed at the end of the game, drawing great inspiration from biblical angels.
Mikey is the angel that assigns missions to Neons. He takes a liking to the main character and guides him as the story progresses. Eventually, he defects from the side of the believers and decides to take things into his own hands to help bring back God.
