With the release of Episode 14 last week, The Paranormal Liberation arc of My Hero Academia is finally over. The devastation caused for our heroes is too much for them to handle, but this is just the start, as the villains have already planned their next move. And as the title for the upcoming episode and the final scenes of the previous episode suggests, their next target is going to be Tartarus, a prison where All For One is currently confined.
What Happened Previously On My Hero Academia?
It is revealed that before the war began, a Re-Destro double was created by Twice and invited for a joint project, which was actually a trap set to arrest him. Re-Destro’s double creates destruction and kills several heroes, including the President, before it melts away. After the war, several heroes are taken to the hospital, while the villains are arrested, including Dr. Garaki, who is now being interrogated by the police, Mr Compress, Gigantomachia, Re-Destro, and Getan. More than 16,000 members of the Paranormal Liberation Front are also under arrest.
On the other hand, Shigiraki, Skeptic, Dabi, Spinner, and around 100 other Liberation soldiers escape. Police are trying their best to save as many injured civilians as possible, and Ochaco, Tsuyu, and other heroes are helping them with the rescue. But the destruction caused is so overwhelming that several heroes decide to retire.
Upon finding Midnight’s body, U.A. students are heartbroken, and they mourn their teacher’s death. The episode ends with many civilians waiting for Endevavor’s response to Dabi’s confession, and All For One, who is controlling Shigaraki’s body, commands Nomu to attack Tartarus to free his main body.
