Bakugo is a wonderfully nuanced character in the world ofMy Hero Academia. He has his flaws and his strengths. He can be quite brash and unwelcoming at times, but that comes from his dedication to getting stronger and his self-confidence.

Without a doubt, Bakugo shines most when put under pressure. His fights in the anime see him constantly evolving and overcoming his shortcomings. No matter who the opponent is, Bakugo gives his all and goes above and beyond to defeat them.
10Episode 42: Moonfish
Moonfish was a fodder villain whose mission was to abduct Bakugo. His superpower was quite disturbing. He had really long and sharp razor teeth, which seemed to harm him just as much as they harmed others.
Bakugo couldn’t fight Moonfish with his full power as they were in a forest, and using his explosions carelessly could lead to the fire spreading, harming their allies in the process. But Bakugo doesn’t lose his cool and manages to overcome the situation by using Dark Shadow, a liability, to his advantage.

9Episode 80: Hypocrisy
Not a fight in the traditional sense, Episode 80 sees Bakugo change the hearts of unruly children. He, alongside Inasa, Camie, and Shoto, endures their brash behavior without getting angry, and they arrange a fun experience for them using their powers, which helps them win the children over.
The ringleader of the children has a similar superior mindset to Bakugo. Seeing him, Bakugo realizes his own shortcomings and tells him that if he doesn’t stop looking down on others, he won’t be able to see the shortcomings in himself. Of course, this also applies to Bakugo himself.

8Episode 27: Best Jeanist Internship
Once more, not a fight in the traditional sense. The best Jeanist internship had Bakugo fighting his anger issues. Best Jeanist is the no. 4 hero in Japan. He sent Bakugo an internship offer after the U.A. Sports Festival because he wanted to teach the up-and-coming hero how to present himself in a more acceptable fashion.
During the internship, Bakugo is forced to wear a hair gel that makes his hair stay down. It only stays active as long as he retains his cool. At first, he is unable to remain calm even for a few minutes. But eventually, he manages to keep the gel working for hours.

7Episode 97: Five-Minute Annihilation
During the Joint Training arc, Bakugo paired up with Jiro, Sero, and Kojiro, who were also his bandmates in a previous arc. Together they managed to defeat their opponents with ease and finish the match in just five minutes.

During this match, Bakugo’s character is developed to a further extent, and he shows concern for his classmates and helps them take on their opponents during the match. This is a marked change from his previous attitude of trying to win on his own. Because of the character development seen in this fight, as well as the show of intellect, this is considered one of thebest Bakugo momentsin the series.
6Episode 24: Bakugo Vs. Tokoyami
In the semi-finals, Bakugo is paired up against Tokoyami, a strong opponent whose quirk is related to controlling a dark shadow monster.
Bakugo accurately determines that light is the weakness of Tokoyami’s quirk and uses his powers to his advantage. His fast thinking, expert combat skills, and quirk usage lead to him winning the match after some struggle.

5Episode 45: Rose Up Against Villains
The forest training arc takes a turn for the worse when the League of Villains starts its attack on the U.A. students. This time, the goal was to abduct Bakugo, who they believed would be a great asset to their cause.
They successfully transport the short-tempered hero back to their headquarters and attempt to convince Bakugo to join their cause. Even though he is surrounded on all sides by enemies and has no way to escape immediately, Bakugo is not scared at all. He brashly declares his intent to become a hero no matter what and even tries to attack the leader of the villains.

4Episode 25: Todoroki
The finals of the U.A. sports festival were a spectacle of overpowered quirks and intense battling. Bakugo goes toe-to-toe with Todoroki and comes out on top after the altercation. He declares that the person with better combat skills and quirks will win.
Bakugo is unsatisfied with his win because Todoroki doesn’t use the full extent of his quirk as he did with Midoriya. Regardless, Bakugo is crowned as the winner of the Sports festival.
3World Heroes' Mission: Serpenters
The Serpenters were one of the main antagonists in the World Heroes' Mission. Bakugo takes them on alone and uses everything in his arsenal in order to defeat them.

He is heavily injured by the Serpenters during the course of the fight but still manages to snag the win from right under their noses. He isn’t physically stronger or faster than the twins, but using his wits, Bakugo manages to trap them and unleashes his ultimate technique on them, leading to a victory.
2Heroes Rising: Nine
During their rematch against Nine, Bakugo and Midoriya are unable to do too much damage. However, just as it looks like they’re going to fail, Midoriya somehow shares his quirk with Bakugo.
This leads to Bakugo getting the same super speed and strength that Midoriya uses. His quirk also gets augmented. Using these newfound powers, the duo combine their power and defeat the villain.
1Episode 61: Rivals
Midoriya and Bakugo are great friends and better rivals. They are the antithesis of one another yet mesh together so well. Where Bakugo is confident, brash, and rude, Midoriya is insecure, soft-spoken, and overly nice.
The second fight between the two protagonists is consideredone of the best fightsin the series. It occurs after the Kamino ward incident that leads to All Might losing access to his powers. Bakugo unleashes everything he has against Midoriya in an effort to release his frustrations and confirm his own power to himself. After an incredibly intense battle, he barely inches out a win.
