Studio Bind has released a new visual, trailer, and an updated staff list for theMushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnationanime during today’s AnimeJapan showcase, revealing that the second season’s premiere date is sometime in July 2023.It has been over three months since the latest information about the sequel, but Studio Bind unveiled a new trailer with the returning cast, new staff, and July 2023 premiere window. The studio will be returning to animate, while Hiroki Hirano will replace Manabu Okamoto as the director. The new season’s script supervisor will also change, as Toshiya Onu will replace Okamoto in the production house. Sanae Shimada, on the other hand, joined the staff as the character designer.

The returning cast includes Akinori Mishima as editor, Jin Aketagawa as the sound director, and Masakazu Miyake as the sole art director. As for the Japanese cast members, Kohora Konomi will take the role of Roxy, and Uchiyama Yumi will reprise his role as Rudeus. The other two main characters, Eris Boreas and Sylphitte, will be voiced by Ai Kakuma and Ai Kayano. Daisuke Namikawa (Demon Slayer Kimetsu no Yaiba), Hisako Kanemoto (Classroom of the Elite), Houchu Ohtsuka (Naruto Shippuden), and Kengo Kawanishi (Blue Period) are also among the cast members.

The Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation anime’s first season was split into two courses, with the first one airing in January 2021 and the second streaming in October of the same year. Crunchyroll and Hulu are now streaming the season for international audiences. Inspired by Rifujin na Mogonote’s light novel series, the anime follows Rudeut Greyrat as he builds a new life without regrets. “Rudeus Greyrat is determined not to repeat his past mistakes. He’s going to make the most of this reincarnation as he sets off on the adventure of a second lifetime!” Seven Seas Entertainment describes the story.

Fans were concerned that the anime’s second season would not air in the near future, despite the fact that the first trailer for the sequel was released in the summer of 2022. It was confirmed that the forthcoming season will adapt both the Magic School and the Quagmire arc.
