Battling large monsters can be really tough, and you are going to burn through items to keep your mission going. This is where crafting is going to come in really handy and make sure you can succeed on your quest. As crafting is incredibly important in Monster Hunter Rise, we’ve crafted this guide (pun intended) to help you understand everything about it.

How To Craft And Auto-Craft

You are able to craft both in the village and while on a questas long as you have the correct resources. In order to craft, go into the menu screen, and here you select Craft List. This will then bring up a full list of what you can craft and what it would need. When you have played the game enough, you will come to learn what items you need more than others and which you tend to lean on more to get the quest done.

Once you have figured this out, you shouldset all these crafts to auto-craft, this will then craft these items as and when you pick them up. This is as long as you have inventory space for it. You do this in the same menu where you manually craft — just tick the box for auto-craft next to what you need, and the game does the rest. This is really handy in a pinch as you can grab resources around you or from kills, andit will craft what you need without being vulnerable in the menu.

Monster Hunter Crafting

Also, rememberyou can craft before a quest too, so if you want to stock up, you don’t have to buy things outright. Make sure you check what you need and purchase the resources, this can be cheaper than buying the item directly, as you may have most of the resources and only need a few more.

When you enter a quest, you will be able to access the supply box, which will have some supplies for you. However, to replenish any resources you have, you can go into the tent at the camp when you start a quest. Then, go to your item box, where you can restock any supplies you might have in there should you need them.
