The Shadow Siege event has commenced forWarzone 2, and sees players joining forces with Shadow Company to stop Makarov and his Konni forces from acquiring a dangerous chemical underneath Zaya Observatory in Al Mazrah. Though the reveal of 2023’s Call Of Duty Modern Warfare 3 is the biggest aspect of this event, the inclusion of free rewards is sure to keep players satisfied in the meantime. Among the various rewards is theM13C, a compact Assault Rifle that is perfect for close-range gunfights.

The M13C is a more compact version of the M13B, featuring .300 BLK rounds that hide kill skulls from the enemy team. This nifty Assault Rifle possesses thehighest level of mobilityfor Season 5, along withone of the best levels of handling. However, despite this obvious advantage, pretty much every other gun in its category surpasses it in damage, range, and accuracy.
Unlocking The M13C
The M13C is afree reward for the Shadow Seige Event, for Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone 2. To obtain the M13C base variant for free, players will need toassist in killing 5 Commandersin the Shadow Siege limited-time game mode. Players can also obtain a blueprint variant of the M13C by preordering Modern Warfare 3. Once the event is over, players can also obtain this weapon by extracting it in Warzone 2 DMZ, or by receiving a blueprint variant of it within a Store Bundle - or as an in-game reward.
Best M13C Medium Range Build (Warzone 2)

You know the drill by now. For both Warzone and Modern Warfare 2, creating a custom Perk Package is the way forward for securing the best Perks in your loadout. Though your Perks of choice are largely down to personal preference, we have a few recommendations for which ones you should choose. For regular Multiplayer, start withDouble Time and Scavenger. This combo will keep you light on your feet to enhance mobility, along with keeping your ammo reserve high to rack up those kills.
Fast Handsis a definite must for any loadout, especially when your reload speed is reduced after equipping an extended magazine. Finally, finish off withQuick Fixfor keeping your health high by kick-starting your regeneration following eliminations and objective captures.
For Warzone 2, go ahead and make a few adjustments to the above Perk Package byswapping out Scavenger for Overkill. Scavenger is not exactly useful for Battle Royal, as ammunition can be found everywhere. Overkill will prove much more useful, as you can take another primary weapon in place of your secondary slot.
Secondary Recommendations
The M13C is perfectly capable of holding its own in almost any situation when it comes to regular Multiplayer - as the maps tend to be much smaller than that of Warzone 2. Therefore, consider keeping your secondary slot free forequipping a Launcher. TheJOKR and the PILAare our top recommendations for this category, as both are capable of taking down enemy UAVs and other pesky killstreaks.
For Warzone 2, however, it’d be best to pair the M13C with a weapon from theSniper Riflecategory.
