The launch ofModern Warfare 2Season 1 brings all-new content, such asWarzone 2and DMZ into the mix. An all-new Battle Pass has also made its debut within Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare 2, and players can progress through the various tiers to unlock new rewards. Outside the Battle Pass, players can also obtain thebrand new Assault Rifle called the M13B.

The M13B is an Assault Rifle that features ahigh rate of fire and low recoil, making it an exceptionally strong weapon for close-to-mid-range engagements. The gun itself can be used from afar but is beaten by every other Assault Rifle when it comes to range. However, the M13B hashigh handling and mobility, making it a good gun to use for running and gunning.

Unlocking The M13B
The M13B is a special case when it comes to weapon unlocks in Modern Warfare 2. Most guns can either be unlocked through ranking up or leveling up other guns belonging to the same Weapon Platform. However, to unlock the M13B, you will have to firstfind it within Warzone 2 DMZ, and thensuccessfully exfil with the gun in your inventory. The M13B is wielded byThe Chemist, an armored Commander found within theRadiation Zoneof Al Mazrah.
The Radiation Zone is quite hard to miss, as it is permanently revealed on the map. Before heading here,ensure you have a Gas Mask, because without one you will slowly lose health within this area. Gas Masks can be purchased from Buy Stations, or looted from enemies within the Radioactive Zone.
The Chemist can be found near the center of the Radiation Zone,identified by his unique yellow-hazmat suit. All that is left now is todefeat the Chemist,obtain the M13B Blueprintthat he is carrying,locate the nearest Extract Point, andextract out of the match. Once done successfully, you will have the M13B unlocked for all modes.
Only one person in a single match of DMZ can obtain the M13B this way, and if you cannot find the Chemist within this area, then you will have to try again in a different game.
If you are lookingto bypass this method altogether, then all you need is a buddy who has the M13B in their Contraband Stash or insured weapon slot. Simplyparty upwith them and have them load into a game ofDMZ with the M13B. They can thendrop the M13Bfor you, and you may then progress to the nearestexfil pointfor extraction. Upon successfully extracting out of DMZ, you willunlock the M13B for all modes.

Fast Hands
For this loadout, we recommend choosingDouble Timeto keep yourself agile which allows you to close the distance between you and enemy players. This is especially useful in game modes like Warzone, DMZ, and Ground War because therange on the M13B is still on the low side. Next, go ahead and utilizeScavenger. With the M13B’s fast fire rate, you will be burning through your ammunition fairly quickly. Choosing Scavenger will allow you toresupply your ammunitionso long as you are getting kills.
Fast Handsis a must if you are running an extended magazine attachment because your reload speed is slowed down significantly. Running Fast Hands will allow you to gain some of that speed back, keeping your primaryfast and reliable in tense situations. Lastly, go ahead and useGhost. This way you will still bekept of the mini-map, even whilst an enemy UAV is active.
For Warzone 2, go ahead anddrop Scavenger for Overkill. This is because Battle Royale players will benefit greatly by rocking an additional primary weapon - and you should not have a hard time resupplying ammunition in this mode.
Secondary Recomendations
The M13B will lead the way for most of your gunfights, meaning there is no need to carry a swap-to-weapon. So, go ahead and run thePILAas a secondary. The PILA is a great launcher due to its ability totake down killstreaks, but also has a free-fire option to use against enemy players. This also translates to Warzone and DMZ, and the PILA can be used totake out helicopters and ground vehicles.
For Warzone 2, however, we recommend taking a weapon from theSniper Riflecategory. While the M13B is great from medium-range, it is significantly less effective from afar. Our top picks from the Sniper category includetheVictus XMRandtheSignal 50. However,theMCPR-300also packs a punch and possesses the largest mag size of all Sniper Rifles.
