Modern Warfare 2andWarzone 2’s Season 5 Reloaded is here, bringing all new content to satisfy fans until the debut of Season 6. Though new maps and modes have arrived, players will be pleased to know that two new free weapons are available. One of these weapons is theLachmann Shroud, which is essentially the Lachmann Sub with an integrated suppressor.

While the Lachmann Shroud is essentially a suppressed Lachmann Sub with a burst fire mode, there are a few stat differences between the two. To start, the Lachmann Shroud has higher damage and recoil control, but falls short in range and accuracy. In fact, this SMG sports thehighest level of damage per shot and recoil controlamong all weapons of its category. This gives the gun a superfast TTK, being capable of killing unarmoured Opponents in as little as two burst shorts.
Unlocking The Lachmann Shroud
The Lachmann Shroud is afree-reward tied to the Season 5 Battle Pass, and is theHVT reward for Sector E0. To claim the Lachmann Shroud you must first get access to Sector E0 by eitherclaiming all rewards in Sectors E2, E3, E5, or E13. Next, you will need tounlock all other rewards within Sector E0. The last thing you will need to do isget 30 Operator Hipfire Kills with SMGs. Once you have fulfilled all three requirements, you will have unlocked the Lachmann Shroud.
There are a few alternative methods to getting the Lachmann Shroud outside the Battle Pass. The first method is toextract it in Warzone 2 DMZ. The second method is toacquire a blueprint variant of iteither through purchasing a Store Bundle, as a Faction Mission reward, or within future Battle Passes.
Best Lachmann Shroud Warzone 2 Build
Our below Lachmann Shroud build will provide an added boost in damage, range, accuracy, and recoil control. Though handling and mobility are on the lower side with the attachments we have chosen, you will still find yourself aiming players with Assault Rifles - which is the most popular weapon choice.

For your Lachmann Shroud Modern Warfare 2 loadout, go ahead and create a Custom Perk Package with the following Perks. First, takeTracker and Scavengerfor your Base Perk slots. Tracker will reveal enemy footprints, making it much easier to keep track of your opponents and close the distance for an easy kill. Scavenger will ensure you never run out of ammunition, which is great considering that SMGs tend to have a lower ammo reserve.
Fast Handsis without a doubt a must for this loadout, as it allows you to pop a reload much faster - which is quite fitting considering SMGs are tailored for running and gunning. Lastly, takeQuick Fixto instantly start health regeneration from eliminating enemy Operators.
For Warzone 2, be sure totake Overkill in place of Scavenger. Scavenger is not all too useful in Battle Royale, but Overkill will allow you to equip an additional primary weapon right from the get-go.
Secondary Recommendations
The Lachmann Shroud is perfectly capable of holding its own when it comes to regular Multiplayer. Therefore, consider equipping eitherthe PILA or the JOKRas secondary. Both options are capable of locking onto enemy killstreaks, providing you with the means to take down those pesky UAVs and higher-tier killstreaks.
For Warzone 2, we recommend two either taking anAssault Rifle or and Light-Machine Gun. Both options allow you to take on opponents from a distance, while your SMG can be used at close range.TheTAQ-56,theISO Hemlock, andtheLachmann-556are some of the best Assault Rifles to use across range. When it comes to the LMG category,theRPKandtheRAAL MGare our only recommendations for long-range.
