Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare 2is taking the series to all new heights after becomingthe biggest Call Of Duty launch on Playstation. Serving as a direct sequel to Modern Warfare 2019, Modern Warfare 2 sees the return of a modern setting and an expansive multiplayer experience that features all-new modes and weapons. One such weapon is theFSS Hurricane, a brand-new Submachine Gununique to Modern Warfare 2.

The FSS Hurricane is an SMG thathas superior stability and a large magazine of 50 rounds. While the gun has a fairly slow rate of fire compared to otherSubmachine Guns, it does havesuperb bullet velocity and a quick aim-down sight speed. Most weapons can be unlocked by simply reaching a certain level, but this differs when it comes to the FSS Hurricane, as it cannot be unlocked via this method. Instead, players will need to progress through the M4 weapon tree to gain access to it. Here is how to unlock the FSS Hurricane and the best attachments to use on it.

Unlocking The FSS Hurricane
In order to unlock the FSS Hurricane in Modern Warfare 2, you are going to need to fulfill the following prerequisites. Firstly you will need toreach level 4to be able to unlock access to the Custom Loadout system. Next, you will need to get toweapon level 13 with the M4Assault Rifle (which is available for all players) in orderto unlock the FTAC Recon.
Once you have the FTAC Recon, you will then need to reachweapon level 16with it, and then you will be given access to the FSS Hurricane. All you need to do to level up your weapons in Modern Warfare 2 is to use them in matchmaking, with getting eliminations being the best source of Weapon XP.

The attachments we have chosen willimprove the range, accuracy, and recoil controlof the FSS Hurricane without reducing its existing stats. The first attachment we recommend is theXTEN RR-40, a suppressor thatincreases the effective rangeof your primary while alsosmoothening out the recoilfor better accuracy. This muzzle also adds the benefit ofconcealing your shots from enemy compasses, allowing you to remain undetected.
Next, go ahead and equip theFSS OLE-V LASERtoimprove your ADS and sprint-to-fire speeds. Doing so will allow you to get your weapon up much sooner after performing a tactical sprint. The laser attachment also improves your aiming stability. The next two attachments we recommend are theFSS SHARKFIN 90 and the SAKIN ZX GRIPto furtherimprove your gun’s recoil and aiming stabilitywhilst keeping the cons at a minimum.
Lastly, we recommend equipping an optic. The main benefit of the FSS Hurricane over other Submachine Guns is its range. By equipping an optic, you will be better prepared for a mid-range gunfight. TheCRONEN MINI PROis great in this regard because it has minimal negative impacts.

For your Multiplayer Loadout, go ahead and create a custom Perk Package. This way, you can choose the best perks for this loadout. For your first Base Perk, go ahead and pickTracker. Tracker is a great perk for an SMG class, asenemy footprint trails will be visible to you. This allows you to easily locate enemy players. This perk also adds the added benefit ofhiding kill skulls from your opponents, keeping your whereabouts a secret. Your second perk can beScavenger, which allows you toresupply ammunition from eliminated players. This is exceptionally useful for Submachine Guns, which tend to burn through their ammunition quite quickly.
Your second option should beFast Hands to compensate for the FSS Hurricane’s slow reload speed. Lastly, go ahead and useQuick Fixfor easy healing on the go so long as you are gaining eliminations.
Unfortunately, for Warzone 2 players, you are unable to create a custom Perk Package for your loadouts. But, if you want to take the FSS Hurricane into Battle Royale, you can pick between one of two preset options. The first option is theWeapon Specialist Perk Package, which containsOverkill, Strong Arm, Spotter, and Survivor. This package will prove useful fortaking an Assault Rifle into Al Mazrah, primarily for medium-to-long-range combat. Your alternative option could be theSpecter Package, which provides a great set of perks prioritizing stealth. However, this package will force you to either buy an Assault Rifle from the Buy Station or scavenge one from the ground.
Secondary Recommendations
For regular Multiplayer, your choice is fairly simple. Go ahead and equip either theJOKR or the PILA. Because you are running Quick Fix as an Ultimate Perk, you will be vulnerable to enemy UAVs. Therefore, carrying a Launcher will allow you totake down such killstreaks as soon as they are called in.
For Warzone 2 players, you might want to use anAssault Rifle as your secondary. This is because the FSS Hurricane is near useless from afar.TheTaq-56is a great choice due to its ability to perform well at longer ranges while alsodealing significant damagewhen firing at the upper torso.
