Halloween Horror Nightsis back, and guests are asked who they’re gonna call as some familiar ghosts and a whole lot of Mini-Pufts invade the Orlando amusement park.

TheGhostbustersfranchise has had a rough go of it. The original film is a bona fide masterpiece and the direct sequel featured a fantastic villain and some of the series’ most fun moments; however, that lightning in a bottle event that audiences experienced in 1984 has yet to be regained on the big screen. Fans can still experience the highs and lows of the franchise at this year’s Halloween Horror Nights, featuring a haunted house dedicated toGhostbusters: Frozen Empireand an onslaught of those adorably mischievous Mini-Pufts.

Of the two newest entries,Ghostbusters: AfterlifeandGhostbusters: Frozen Empire, the most popular addition to theGhostbusterslore has been the tiny, miniature versions of the infamous Stay-Puft Marshmallow Man. Much like the Sour Patch Kids from those popular commercials, the cuteness of these characters is deceiving. They look squishy and cuddly, but are quick to cause chaos wherever they go.
Halloween Horror Nights Gets Invaded By Mini-Pufts
As guests make their way through theGhostbusters: Frozen Empirehaunted house, they’ll find numerous familiar characters from the entire franchise. Some of them more friendly than others. But perhaps the highlight of the house are the many Mini-Pufts scattered throughout the spooky maze. In the image above, the tiny terrors can be be seen reeking havoc on a laboratory within theGhostbustershouse. This is just one of many examples of the fluffy trouble-makers leaving their mark on this year’s event.
But they are marshmallows, aren’t they? AndMarshmallowswere made to be eaten. Guests can do exactly that with the Mini-Puft S’more, available for $6.99. This is exactly what it sounds like. It’s a s’more made of a bottom graham cracker, a piece of chocolate and topped with a marshmallow shaped exactly like the iconic Mini-Puft Marshmallow Man from theGhostbustersfilms. It’s kind of dark when you think about it… So, let’s just not think about it too hard.

Before there were Mini-Pufts, there was Slimer. The gooey, green ghost made his first appearance in the original film, but truly made an impression on kids through his inclusion in the 1986 animated seriesThe Real Ghostbusters, where he took on the role of a sort of pet, or sidekick to the team. So, it’s only fitting that he’d be found here in theGhostbustershaunted house.
He may be the most recognizable, but he’s certainly not the only familiar face to make an appearance. Fan favorite characters, both friend and foe, join in on the fun and frights to makeGhostbusters: Frozen Empireone of the most fun houses of the year. The various generations of films are merged into a love-letter to one of the most beloved franchises to ever exist.

Halloween Horror Nights is currently open at Universal Studios Orlando.
