Megaton Musashi W: Wired has finally received a worldwide release, following an original release back in 2021. The game is a mecha hack-and-slash, complete with fully-voiced anime cutscenes and a large cast of characters.
Megaton Musashi W seems to have garnered a positive early reception, holding a ‘Very Positive’ average review score onSteamwith nearly 200 reviews. In an interview withGame Rant, the chief executive officer of developer Level 5, Akihiro Hino, talked about the studio’s plans for Megaton Musashi W.

Time To Save Humanity
The newly-released version of Megaton Musashi W is the ‘complete version’, boasting a brand new story. As the game has received post-launch support in Japan for years, players can expect more of the same for the international ‘complete’ release.
“We will continue the game and story as well,” says Hino. He follows up by saying although there are lots of possibilities, upcoming updates are going to be bug fixes and customer support. Considering the game just launched, that’s understandable.

In Japan, Megaton Musashi engaged in a lot of collaborations. Level 5 especially focused on other mecha properties, like Voltes V, Combattler V and Mazinger Z. There’s a chance that international audiences will experience future collaborations. This could be an avenue to add new content.
