If there were any major differentiating factor between hero shooters and regular shooters, it would be the greater emphasis on mobility.
Hero shooters get a lot of their DNA from MOBAs, after all, which place a similar importance on movement, spacing, and targeting.

A character’s mobility determines how quickly you can navigate an active firefight, escape enemy pursuers, and make your way back into the fray after getting your butt kicked.
Marvel Rivals: 14 Best Tips For Beginners
Marvel Rivals is climbing the player base, and new players are joining the game. Check out our 14 Best Beginner tips curated for new players.
Marvel Rivals’ extensive roster has all kinds of heroes and villains with varying levels of agility, maneuverability, and general trickiness.

If you’re looking to bamboozle foes, play keep-away, or just get back to the action faster, these are the characters you might enjoy.
10Black Panther
Cat-Like Agility
Black Panther possesses the blessing of the Panther Goddess, Bast. Naturally, this means he has all the speed and agility of a wild predator.
Black Panther can run along walls and perform a wide jump off them for quick navigation. His Spirit Rend and Spiral Kick abilities both incorporate forward dashes, and they can be performed sequentially for a little extra oomph.

Best of all, any enemies hit by Black Panther’s ultimate are marked. Attacking an enemy with this mark instantly refreshes Spirit Rend. With a little setup, you can sequentially dash through an entire firefight.
Flying Free
Ever the show-off, Iron Man has aerial superiority down to a science. He wouldn’t be Tony Stark if he didn’t always have to be above everybody.
Iron Man is always flying, even without using any of his abilities. you’re able to freely ascend and descend as youmove around the map, reaching areas that would normally require multiple jumps.

For extra speed, activate Hyper-Velocity to get a 100% forward movement boost for a little while. Just remember to manually deactivate it when you reach your destination, because you can’t use Repulsor Blast or Unibeam while boosting.
8Iron Fist
The Most Jumps Of All
Iron Fist utilizes a blend of a few different martial arts, all enhanced by his chi powers. Apparently, one of those powers is stunt wire fighting, because he moves like someone out of a kung-fu flick.
Iron Fist has the most jumping power in the roster, with the ability to jump up to three times consecutively in the air. He can also run horizontally along walls while the jumps recharge, so he can stay off the ground for quite a while.

His Yat Jee Chung Kuen and K’un Lun Kick abilities also incorporate dashes. This allows him to zip in and out of melee range, harassing foes as he goes.
7Rocket Raccoon
Flying And Climbing
Rocket Raccoon would already be pretty agile on his own without the jetpack strapped to his back, but he’snever been one to shy away from overkill.
With his Jetpack Dash, Rocket can quickly boost forward two times in a row in whatever direction he’s facing. If that’s cooling down, he can also use Wild Crawl to scramble up and across flat walls at an impressive speed.
If you happen to have a Groot on your team, Rocket can jump over a short distance onto his shoulders, then quickly take off again from his perch.
6Spider-Man
Pretty Much His Whole Shtick
If there were an official award for the most agile Marvel superhero, it would almost definitely go to Spider-Man. While he does have super strength and webs and whatnot, it’s always been Web-Head’s agility that makes him a standout contender.
Spider-Man has one of the widest arrays of mobility-focused skills in the game. He has his traditional web swing, of course, as well as the ability to crawl and run up and along walls.
Besides that, he’s one of the few characters with a double jump, which is handy if the web swing isn’t available. Best of all, if he’s tagged an enemy with his secondary, he can use Get Over Here to immediately zipline to their position.
5Star-Lord
Rough ‘N Tumble
Anyone who knows Peter Quill knows he likes to show off, injectinga little flair into his battle tactics. Whether or not it’s necessary, it does make him a rather squirrely foe.
His primary movement boost, Rocket Propulsion, gives him an explosive boost of forward thrust for several seconds, great for giving chase and staying in a firefight.
His Stellar Shift secondary is a short dodge roll that can be performed in any direction for quick evasion and reloading.

Know your enemy and know your weaknesses.
Star-Lord reaches his peak of mobility with his ultimate, Galactic Legend, where he begins flying freely through the air while rapidly blasting foes.
4Wolverine
The Ol’ Berserker Barrage
If you’ve ever played a Marvel VS Capcom game, you know that Wolverine has always been the best at what he does. What he does is dash long distances, wildly swinging his claws.
Several of Wolverine’s offensive abilities include charging movement effects. His secondary, Vicious Rampage, includes a powerful forward dash, while his Feral Leap ability allows him to leap through the air in a tight arc.
Wolverine’s mobility improves further if he’s on a team with the Hulk. Byteaming up, the duo can perform their classic Fastball Special, with the Hulk chucking Wolverine a long distance.
3Captain America
He Can Just Run
Captain America has always been something of a no-frills superhero, Vibranium shield notwithstanding. The guy’s a soldier, first and foremost, so it makes sense that his tactics are straightforward.
Alongside Black Widow and The Punisher, Cap is one of the only characters in the game with a traditional dashing ability. What puts him above the others, though, is that Cap’s dash can also transition into Fearless Leap for a little extra movement and verticality.
Add the short, yet forceful dash from Liberty Rush into the mix, and you’ve got a character that plays a tight ground game with short, explosive movements.
2Moon Knight
Grappling And Gliding
While Moon Knight does get some superpowers from Khonshu’s influence, they’re more offense-focused than mobility-focused. Luckily, he makes up the difference withskill and gadgets.
Moon Knight can perform a double jump, as well as use his Night Glider to slowly descend at a higher horizontal speed than simply falling would carry him.
Additionally, Moon Knight can launch his Moonlight Hook up to 21.5 meters away, quickly pulling himself to any solid object or surface it makes contact with. Careful use of these abilities ensures you’ll always have at least one way to escape a hairy situation.
Here, There, Everywhere
Compared to other movement-focused characters, Loki probably isn’t one of the first you’d think of in the speed department. Indeed, his standard movement isn’t anything to write home about.
However, fittingly for the God of Mischief, Loki’s mobility comes from hisbamboozling Doppelganger abilities.
Loki can place several Doppelgangers at once a surprising distance from himself, then use Devious Exchange to immediately swap places with them.
With a bit of strategy and targeting, it’s not only a fast way to get around, but a sneaky, low-profile means of travel.
