Turns out, the only project where Matt Sazama and Burk Sharpless found success was the 2018 Netflix seriesLost in Spacewherein they served as executive producers and showrunners of the show. The Netflix series also received average success and wasn’t really anything out of the ordinary.

Although the film has been hailed as one of the worst movies made and deemed as an underwhelming experience,Dakota Johnsonrevealed that she will not mind returning for a sequel. In an interview withDigital Spy, Johnson claimed that there is a lot more to explore!
“There is so much I would like to look at. If they want me to come back then I definitely will. I have no idea what’s in store.This is my first kind of introduction to Marvel, so I feel I would choose whichever superheroes have more physical strengths than Madame Web.”
She further continued,
“I feel she [Madame Web] could handle all the intellectual stuff, and then I just need people who are really strong or like shoot lasers or fireballs out of their fingertips or something.”
Although the marketing for the movie was on point and millions of fans were waiting for its release,Madame Webwas a failure. The 2024 received a rating of 3.9/10 on IMDB and a record-low of 15% on Rotten Tomatoes. The film is currently screening in theaters around the world.
