With the manga’s hiatus in 2012 and the author’s declining health, it faced an abrupt ending. It was eventually overshadowed by other shonen mangas as well. Nevertheless, after a ten-year hiatus, the iconic anime made its comeback through its second installment of the animeBleach: Thousand-Year Blood Warin 2022.

To add to that, the anime did surprisingly well considering the ten-year hiatus. However, several fans believe that the author’s investment in a movie related to its light-novel seriesBleach: Can’t Fear Your Own Worldcould surpass his previous works.
