It has been a long time since fans of the series have been enthralled by it, as the second season of KonoSuba aired in 2017.

The spin-off series, KonoSuba: An Explosion on This Wonderful World, is set to release onWednesday,April 5th. In Japan, the series will air its first episode on Tokyo MX and several other local channels, while for international fans,Crunchyrollhas licensed the series. Cast, Staff, And Synopsis Of The Series

The upcoming KonoSuba project is animated by studio Drive instead of Studio Deen, which animated the previous installment of the series. An Explosion on This Wonderful World is directed by Yujiro Abe, with series composition by Makoto Uezu. Music for the series will be by Masato Kōda, with Yoshikazu Iwanami as the sound director. Koichi Kikuta is returning as the character designer of the series. The opening theme song is titled “STAY FREE” by Machico, while Rie Takahashi and Aki Toyosaki performed the ending theme song titled “JUMP IN.”

Alongside a talented staff, the series also has a great cast, which includes Aki Toyosaki as Yunyun (Kon in Tokyo Ravens), Rie Takahashi as Megumin (Yuzuriha in Hell’s Paradise), Kaori Nazuka as Arue, Maria Naganawa as Komekko, Miyu Tomita as Funifura, Sayumi Suzushiro as Dodonko, and Shizuka Ishigami as Nerimaki.

Megumin, known as the “Greatest Genius of the Crimson Magic Clan,” had been relentlessly working towards mastering the ultimate offensive magic, Explosion, for a year before the appearance of a useless goddess and NEET. Her dedication to this goal began after a life-changing experience in her childhood. However, Megumin’s younger sister, Komekko, discovers a black kitten while out in the woods, unaware of its significance in unsealing the tomb of a Dark God.
