This walkthrough guide for the For Victory! quest in Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 has everything you need to know about how to complete it as well as crucial tips.

Preparing for the Raid on Nebakov
The start of the For Victory! quest shows Hans, Henry, and Lord Von Bergow discussing the plans to raid the bandit camp at Nebakov. Afterthe lengthy conversation, players have the main objective of getting Capon wine and armor for the fight ahead.
Getting Wine for Capon
While Henry is supposed to grab wine from Katherine, she’s unfortunately nowhere to be found. Instead, speak to Cook Manyeta in the main kitchenbelow the dining hall. Manyeta will mention that the herb chest is broken again, which you can thenoffer to help fix it for her.
The herb chest can be found in the back of the kitchen against the wall. Attempt to fix it for her through a lockpicking minigame and then return to Cook Manyeta to let her know if you fixed it or not. Don’t worry, it’s not mandatory to be successful in the lockpick minigame.

After reporting back to Manyeta, she will hand overWine for Capon. Next, it’s time to findsome sturdy armorfor him.
Getting Gear for Capon
Players canget armor and a sword for Capon by speaking to the Blacksmith at the forgewithin the castle. If he’s not at the forge, then go ahead and sleep in your bed until morning. Sleeping is another main objective, so it may be smart to get it over with.
When speaking to the Blacksmith, he will tell Henry that he doesn’t have any good gear for Capon. We all know he’s lying through his teeth, so it’s your job to force him to hand over the appropriate equipment through dialogue checks.

I recommend selecting the Intimidation dialogue optionrather than attempting any other way. Failing the Intimidation check will result in a fistfight between you and the Blacksmith, which is easily won by landing a couple of hits on him. After beating him in a fight, he’ll hand over the gear for Hans.
Kingdom Come: Deliverance Review – A Captivating, but Ultimately Uneven Experience
Kingdom Come: Deliverance for PC, PS4, and Xbox One delivers on the Kickstarter’s original promises, but buckles under the game’s tremendous ambition.
If you decide to get the gear from the Blacksmith in a more peaceful way, then it can result in you having toforge all the gear yourself. This is just an annoying extra step that can be avoided by selecting Intimidation.

Once you have the gear for Hans in your inventory, speak to him at his horse and hand everything over to officially saddle up for Nebakov.
The Ambush Near Nebakov
As the men ride their horses to Nebakov, they are ambushed by enemy soldiers hiding out in the woods. This begins a sequence where you have tofight through groups of enemies and follow Hans down a long path to reach Nebakov.
Remain close to Hans during this encounter, killing any enemies that get in your way. Whenever Hans starts to progress down the path, that’s your cue to follow suit and continue following him.
While you shouldn’t lag behind as this will fail the quest, attempt to loot the bodies as you run through the forest when possible, as these fallen men tend to have decent armor, and a bunch of Gloschen that they won’t be needing anymore.
Eventually, you’ll have toprotect Hans as he attempts to save the Chamberlainand free him from being stuck under a horse.
There will be two men shooting down at you from the top of rocks, so go ahead and climb the nearby hill to take them out. After a short time, Chamberlain unfortunately gets shot and killed.
10 Most Underrated Open World Games
Open world games are the norm when it comes to today’s Triple A experiences, but what about the unknowns that do just as well with this formula?
There’s nothing you can do about the Chamberlain, so forget about him andcontinue following Hans down the path toward Nebakov. At one point, you’ll reach a roadblock, and Hans will send you to scout for an alternate route. Luckily, there’sa small gap in the tree.Take the gap, and Hans will follow you through it.
Once you finally reach the destination, a cutscene will start, and the captain of the enemy soldiers will challenge Henry to a duel. The final objective of this quest is to defeat the captain.
Fighting the Captain of Nebakov
If you have been practicingyour combat skillsup to this point, then defeating the captain should be no trouble at all. In casecombat isn’t your strong suit, we’ll remind you ofthe best way to defeat any enemy in the game: Master Strike.
A Master Strike is a counterattack that you’re able to execute with a sword. To accomplish a Master Strike, place your weapon on the opposite side of the captain’s sword. When he attacks and a green shield appears, instead of blocking, you’ll want to attack instead.
Unfortunately, Master Strike doesn’t work with all weapons. If you’re using a weapon that doesn’t support Master Strikes, then defeating the captain boils down toblocking and finding an opening for attack. Whenever the captain attacks, block and then immediately riposte on the opposite side of where he swung his sword.
Luckily, the captain only takes a few hits to defeat him in combat. Once you win in the duel, a cutscene will begin, and the For Victory! quest in Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 will be finished.
