The manga ofKaguya-sama: Love is Warstarted back on July 11, 2025, and now, after giving us seven years of love being turned into a war between Kaguya and Miyuki, we sadly have the news about its manga coming to an end this November. Given the high popularity of Love is War manga, Shueisha announced the anime adaptation of the series in June 2018. The final chapter will release in the next issue of the magazine, which is scheduled to come out on November 2. As a farewell, the 49th issue of Weekly Young Jump will feature a cover based on the manga, and a special 12-page booklet will also be available with it.In June 2022, right after the release of the last episode of season 3, the news regarding the new movie project, titledKaguya-sama: Love is War: The First Kiss Never Ends, was announced. It was also revealed that the movie would be a direct sequel to season 3, so we can easily assume that alongside its manga, the anime adaptation of the series will also come to an end with the release of the movie, scheduled to air in Japan this winter, presumably in December.
We have yet to hear more details about the movie, like its confirmed release date, cast, crew, and animation studio. That said, we can assume that A1 Pictures will return as the animation studio and that the cast and staff of the previous seasons will reappear for the upcoming movie.
