Recently, MAPPA officially announced Season 2 ofJujutsu Kaisen, and here’s everything you need to know about it.
BesidesAttack on TitanandDemon Slayer,Jujutsu Kaisenis one of the best anime series right now. Season 1 ofJujutsu Kaisenpremiered back in October 2020, and the final episode of the season aired in March 2021. The new anime series instantly grabbed the attention of the entire anime community because of its spectacular animation, storyline, and of course, the fight sequences.
After the successful run of Season 1, MAPPA released the prequelJujutsu Kaisen 0movie in Japan. The movie broke all records in Japan and willrelease in the US and Canadaon March 18th, 2022. With that, the creators also announced new information regarding Season 2 after staying silent on it for a long time.
Jujutsu Kaisen Season 2 Announced
Today, February 12th, 2022, MAPPA announced Season 2 ofJujutsu Kaisenin a special stage event in Japan. The event started by playing the newJujutsu Kaisen 0movie on stage, and after that, fans finally got what they were waiting for.
MAPPA confirmed thatJujutsu Kaisenwill return with Season 2 in 2023. Interestingly, Gege also released a new illustration to announce the next season of the popular anime series.
Also, according to some rumors on Twitter, a new PV forJujutsu KaisenSeason 2 also premiered on the stage in Japan. However, we recently found out that the rumors were false, and there’s no teaser visual or PV for the upcoming season. So, we’ll have to wait a little longer for MAPPA to reveal the first PV for Season 2.
Of course, it’s exciting that we’ve got some new updates on the next season; however, we still don’t have an exact release date for the anime’s return. Anyway, with MAPPA’s ongoingAttack on Titan Final Season Part 2approaching its end, we can expect more announcements onJujutsu Kaisensoon.
