As Jogo descended in Shibuya, Sukuna followed with a wicked grin. On the other hand, Megumi faced Toji’s incredible speed despite lacking cursed energy. With Inumaki clearing the area, Megumi confronted Toji, summoning Rabbit Escape in fear of Sukuna’s sudden presence. Toji and Megumi clashed, and the latter felt overwhelmed by Toji’s powers even with rabbit aid, as Toji obliterated the rabbits, terrifying Megumi. Meanwhile, Kusakabe’s team, avoiding conflict, sought Satoru Gojo. Kusakabe stalled, reluctant to face Gojo’s captors, diverting Panda’s attention to buy time in Shibuya.
Megumi struggled against Toji’s relentless pursuit, dodging his continuous deadly attacks. Seeking an advantage with Shoko Ieiri nearby, he faced Toji head-on, summoning Nue for escape. However, Shoko remained hidden. Toji confronted a surprise attack by Megumi, leading to a standoff in an alley. Megumi exploited Toji’s speed, momentarily catching him off guard. Toji, recalling past negotiations, sacrificed himself for Megumi, revealing his fatherly pride before a shocking sacrifice to save his son.

Megumi checked on his fallen foe, noticing a change in appearance before being ambushed by Haruta Shigemo. Meanwhile, Kusakabe faced off against Manami and Negi, seeking to buy time. On the other hand, lights in Shibuya went dark, startling everyone. Sukuna and Jogo engaged in a fierce battle, with Sukuna overpowering Jogo despite his fiery attacks. Jogo unleashed magma and Ember Insects, but Sukuna evaded and counterattacked, overpowering Jogo.
Sukuna dominated Jogo in a fierce battle, injuring him severely. Kusakabe tried to escape but was trapped by curse users. Jogo conjured a destructive meteor, aiming at Sukuna, while Sukuna taunted and restrained everyone around. The meteor struck, but Sukuna emerged unharmed, challenging Jogo further. Finally, they engaged in a fiery duel, with Sukuna revealing his mysterious fire abilities that ultimately killed Jogo.
