What Happened Previously On Jujutsu Kaisen?
We saw a girl, probably Uro, running away from someone. She was upset about the unfairness of the Culling Game, where cursed individuals received a second chance only to lose it. Then, a jellyfish-like Curse trapped her, and Kenjaku’s voice explained how he saw everyone as ingredients without much sentiment. He sealed her head and revealed that he had cursed those who were reincarnated and marked awakened Sorcerers to track them easily.
While Kenny kept talking, Hazenoki showed up, questioning why he was still chatting when she had met her end. Hazenoki and Kenjaku had a confrontation. Kenny jokingly wondered what makes a good friend, but Hazenoki refused his friendship offer, mentioning a friend named Reggie. Hazenoki observed that Kenjaku liked talking to himself due to his long life. Kenjaku redirected his focus to Gojo and Sukuna’s intense battle, admiring Gojo’s good looks as Sukuna expanded his Cursed Technique.
Kenjaku launched a Curse attack on Hazenoki, who fought back with an exploding tooth. Despite Hazenoki’s attempts to escape, Kenny’s Curses trapped him. Kenjaku revealed his goal to end the Culling Game by merging Tengen with all of Japan through a Binding Vow. Hazenoki questioned the meaning of life, and in his final moments, advised Kenny to explore his own interests every morning. Unexpectedly, Takaba confronted Kenjaku, surprising him. Kenny attacked, but Takaba survived, leading to an interesting exchange.
