Fans Are Not Too Happy AboutJohn BoyegaStarring In The Prequel Series
John Boyega is a wonderful actor, even somewhat resembles Denzel Washington, and can more than aptly spearhead such a crucial project. While fans and netizens agree on all these points, they aren’t happy to have theStar Warsstar play a younger version of Washington’s Eli, when his son,John David Washington, can do the job.
Furthermore, other fans believe the movie on its own is a masterpiece and does not deserve to be remade, rebooted, or have a prequel or sequel. While others think other better actors could have led the project. And so as soon as the news of Boyega’s casting and the TV series went viral, here is how the majority of fans reacted on the internet:

I liked this movie, but did it really need a prequel? I don’t think I know anyone else who’d even heard of it.

Damn, why not just go with Denzel’s son to play that part? No offense to Boyega
