Chainsaw Manis one of the most hyped and anticipated anime and manga series of 2023 and the story written by Tatsuki Fujimoto is one of the most fan-favorite and renowned stories and was already a super hit even before the anime adaptation of the franchise was announced by Mappa.
One of the most sought-after names in the industry, Ryu Nakayama, was involved in the production of season one ofChainsaw Manbut recently he confirmed that he won’t be a part of it anymore. Fans are very shocked and have taken it to X, formerly known as Twitter, to discuss it.

Ryu Nakayama won’t be involved in the production ofChainsaw Manseason two
WhenChainsaw Manseason one was announced, everyone was very excited, as the manga sales were already off the charts.
An anime adaptation was expected to be of surreal quality due to it being produced by Mappa and the story being one of the best and most intriguing stories.
However, season one turned out to be a disaster and fans didn’t give it positive reviews and the Blu-ray sales of the series were also extremely low.
Ryu Nakayama was one of the directors in season one and truly outperformed himself and gave us many amazing scenes.
His direction style is one of the best in the industry and fans loved his work in season one. However, he has announced that he won’t be a part of the second season ofChainsaw Man.
Fans have taken to Twitter, now known asX, and are discussing the loss of such a talented director and the scenes they would not get to see in season two.

This actually makes me so sad cuz I really think he could do amazing things if he had another season to use everything he prob learned from doing s1. It’s a shame we’ll never see the full extent of what he could do w the later parts of the story that best suited his style
