WhenChainsaw Manseason one was announced, everyone was very excited, as the manga sales were already off the charts.

An anime adaptation was expected to be of surreal quality due to it being produced by Mappa and the story being one of the best and most intriguing stories.

However, season one turned out to be a disaster and fans didn’t give it positive reviews and the Blu-ray sales of the series were also extremely low.

Ryu Nakayama was one of the directors in season one and truly outperformed himself and gave us many amazing scenes.

This actually makes me so sad cuz I really think he could do amazing things if he had another season to use everything he prob learned from doing s1. It’s a shame we’ll never see the full extent of what he could do w the later parts of the story that best suited his style
