If you’re looking for a new superhero game where you can cut loose, Skybound Entertainment has just the thing, as the studio announced “Invincible VS.” a new fighting game based on the hitInvinciblecomic book series by Robert Kirkman, Cory Walker and Ryan Ottley.
Invincible VS is a three-on-three fighting game that won’t comprise the IP’s adult slant, as the trailer features a lot of violence, cursing, and more.

Invincible VS Features 3v3 Tag Fighting Action
The press release from Skybound mentions, “Invincible VS will offer players a variety of dynamic game modes that raise the stakes with every battle. Whether diving into a captivating single player story, climbing the ranks in a competitive and casual multiplayer Versus mode, unlocking character arcs in Arcade or mastering devastating combos in Training, players will experience unparalleled heroic brutality, where every earth-shattering blow will leave them feeling… Invincible.”
Kirkman also shared his excitement, stating, “I have said this before, and I’ll say it again: this is the most excited I’ve been about anything involving Invincible. Invincible VS is crazy fun, fast, ferocious and dripping with the same over-the-top brutality that you’ll see in the comic book pages and on the show. It is a natural evolution of the franchise and it is everything that fans have been demanding for over a decade! This is without a doubt, probably the best superhero fighting game in the universe!”
Invincible VS is being developed by a newly formed Quarter Up – the first in-house studio at Skybound, and is comprised of former members of the core Killer Instinct (2013) development team.

Some of the confirmed modes for the game include a cinematic story mode, which features an original narrative from a writer of the animated show. There’s also an Arcade mode where players can fight with your team, and a Training mode where players can test their skills. Much like most fighting games these days, there are also plans to add casual and competitive multiplayer modes.
Invincible VS has no release date yet, but it is confirmed for consoles and PC, and is expected to be available sometime in 2026.
