Even though the treasure location and the treasure map are on two opposite corners of Dawnshore, the treasure location itself is not difficult to reach.
Treasure Map Location
The treasure map issold by the merchant Lynna in Claviger’s Landingin Dawnshore. That is the settlement you first set foot in when your journey in the Living Lands begins.
Simply go up to her and ask her to show you her wares. If the merchant starts teasing yourcompanionKai, you are in the right place. Wait until the dialogue betweenKaiand Lynna is finished, open the shop menu and you will find the map there.
The treasure map costs 100 coins. If you are still just starting in Dawnshore, then it may feel a bit expensive, but it is definitely worth the price considering the hefty rewards you will gain in exchange.
Intimidating Feline Codpiece Treasure Location
The treasure residesnorth of the Yellowband campandsouth of Watcher’s Mirror. Once you are at the location marked on the treasure map, you will see a secluded pathway between the rocks and the green vines a bit to your left as shown in the image.
Avowed Director Explains Why The Game Lacks Options For Romance
Despite having a powerful story, the director of Avowed has come out to explain why the game lacks any traditional options for romance.
I would recommend taking a quick detour to the Watchers Mirror if you haven’t already. One of Avowed’s best early-game axesDrawn In Winteris located there. However, be prepared for an ambush as even free weapons come at a cost.
Simply follow the path between the two rocks, andyou will find the Intimidating Feline Codpiece treasure beyond the breakable wall. Loot the chest and your quest will be finished.
Treasure Rewards
Aside from the Golden Scellings, Silver Fennings, and a few crafting materials,the main highlight of the treasure rewards is the Stelgaer’s Pride armor.

The special perks offered by this piece of equipment are the Bloody Fury, which casts a Barbaric Shout when taking damage greater than 30% of your maximum health, and Lesser Relentless, which offers a +5% stamina regeneration rate.
Throughout my exploration,most of the Unique tier armor I found were either Light armor or Heavy armor. The Stelgaer’s Pride armor is the first Unique tier medium armor I found in Avowed. It is also the armor I actively use since keeping a balance between stamina loss and some hefty defense is the playstyle I prefer.
