Amy Schumer called Kirsten Dunst a seat filler. I’m not sure why Amy is even famous. But you do not disrespect Kirsten Dunst. Can they stop making all these people famous. I need more people with talent and class.

Needless to say, Dunst’s fans were absolutely enraged with Schumer. Eventually, things were taken to a whole new level when the comedian started getting death threats from people.
Amy Schumer Receives Death Threats
While discussing patriarchy and misogyny during an interview withVariety, Schumer stated that people do not seem to have any problems when it comes to male comedians and while they may receive some backlash, it is nowhere near to what a female comedian has to go through.
“People get really mad at women. They save a special kind of vitriol for us. It’s not new. I think it’s because they fear women. That’s my guess.”
Coming to her joke on Dunst, Schumer told the publication that she had already gotten both Dunst and Plemons’ approval to make that joke. Unaware of what happened in the background, fans were furious the comedian added. She said,“The patriarchy is not a drill. It’s so deeply ingrained in us. It’s painful and infuriating.”
“They don’t want women to speak”: Amy Schumer Feels Critics Are Mad at Her Because She is Not “Prettier” and “Thinner”
OnThe Howard Stern Show,Schumer revealed that the Secret Service had to be involved in the mess after death threats rose in number and kept getting scarier and scarier.
“I got death threats. I got the secret service reached out to me. They were so bad that the secret service reached out about that. I’m like ‘Oh, I think you have the wrong number, this is Amy not Will [Smith]. They said [No. you are getting death threats]. Not that I want Will to get death threats but…the misogyny is unbelievable.”
The LAPD had to be involved in it all as the death threats were“that serious and that many.”However, she stated that Dunst and Plemons were the coolest people and that the former even posted in favor of Schumer when she saw the backlash.
“She was really nice. Her and Jesse are the coolest. She even posted like, ‘Hey, I knew about that bit,’ because she knew I was getting death threats.”
The Internet sure does take things a bit too far, doesn’t it? Luckily, Dunst and Plemons were good sports to go along with Schumer’s joke and it was nice of the actress to post a clarification about it all.
