Recently, inan interviewwith Ruliweb, Kim was asked about the game. He stated that the gaming industry needs single-player console titles that have a proper ending. Stellar Blade is not going to be a live-service title with several microtransactions and no ending.

Despite the low success rate of single-player console games ending, Kim has assured that Shift Up will continue to take on the challenge and will make them in the future. Kim said he got advice from people to make games with higher profits, which means live service titles.
