2020 has been an eventful year for the video games industry, to say the least. Several major titles have already released throughout the first few months of the year, while the coronavirus pandemic has had a big impact on the launch of other games later this year and forced events likeE3andGamescomto be cancelled or postponed. However, one of the big questions that remains for this year is the launch of the next-gen consoles. While the pandemic may be a factor on the launch of the systems, this week we’ll get a taste of what to look forward to from the next-gen consoles asMicrosoft debuts the first gameplay footage from several games on Xbox Series X.As announced by Microsoft last week, tomorrow (May 7) we’ll be getting our very first look at what next-gen games will look like on the Xbox Series X. In the latest Inside Xbox presentation–followed bymonthly Xbox 20/20 presentations until the Series X launches–we’ll get glimpses of gameplay footage from a number of titles, giving us an idea of what the system is truly capable of.

With that said being said, we want to turn the conversation over to theÂDualShockerscommunity and ask:what are you hoping to see from the first gameplay footage from Xbox Series X? What titles are you hoping to see from the presentation? What new features or systems do you want explained in more detail from Microsoft? Let us know in the comments below.

So far, the only game that we know for sure will be at the presentation isÂAssassin’s Creed Valhalla, which is comingfresh off its reveal by Ubisoft last week. The latest installment of theÂAssassin’s Creedseries is likely to be one of the presentation’s centerpieces, but hopefully we’ll see some other titles in the mix to show what the Xbox Series X can offer as developers move into next-gen. However, it seems unlikely that we’ll see footage from first-party Xbox games confirmed for the systemaccording to Aaron Greenberg, such asÂHalo InfiniteorÂSenua’s Saga: Hellblade 2. Instead, it seems like we’ll be seeing more of those games at another event later this summer.
