With DC’s FanDome event set to transpire in just a few short weeks, many are starting to theorize what will be appearing at the showcase. At this point, a reveal forRocksteady’sÂSuicide Squadgamehas been confirmed andWB Montreal’s latest Batmantitle seems likely to appear as well. As of now, some fans are starting to believe that the reveal of a newÂInjusticeÂgame could be appearing at the event as well, and some newly revealed art could apparently confirm as much.Artist BossLogic recently took to Twitter to show off one of their newest pieces of art which shows off a teaser poster forÂInjustice 3. The game’s logo, which is stylized as “Injustic3” appears in the foreground while the makings of a shattering clock appear in the background. This clock is clearly meant to be associated with DC’sWatchmenfranchise, with the iconic smiley face logo for the group also being seen on the left side of the art.The only problem with this art is that, well, it’s hard to know whether or not it is truly associated withÂInjusticeor not. BossLogic has in the past done official artwork for video games, and notably created some of thekey art forÂAssassin’s Creed Valhallaearlier this year. That said, they also are known to frequently create their own fan art associated with video games, too. Considering the casual nature with which BossLogic threw this piece of art up on social media, I’d be hard-pressed to believe it’s official in this instance.

That said, the possibility ofÂInjustice 3being revealed in the future is well within the realm of possibility. In recent years, NetherRealm Studios has been bouncing between working on theÂInjusticeandÂMortal Kombatfranchises. ConsideringÂMortal Kombat 11was the studio’s last release in 2019, it would stand to reason that they will next be moving back to work onInjustice.

IfÂInjustice 3is set to be revealed soon, there’s a good chance we’ll find out on August 22 when DC FanDome is set to transpire.NetherRealm’s Ed Boon has already been confirmed to appearin some capacity at the show, so maybe this art will turn out to be legitimate after all.
