Ghost of Tsushima 2is on top of every gamer’s wish list. Ever since the original game was released on the tail end of the PlayStation 4 life cycle, the gaming community is already asking for a follow-up and the game developers are working on something that could likely be a sequel.

The highly anticipated Ghost of Tsushima sequel could be the current project of Sucker Punch Productions.

It takes years to finish a video game and Sucker Punch Productions is taking all the time they need and are not rushing to release something that isn’t ready. Four years have passed since the launch of the original game and it seems like enough time for them to share something new.

Ghost of Tsushima 2 Developers Warned the Fans About the Wait

There is an upcoming State of Play andthe gaming community is optimistic that Sonywill at least share some news related toGhost of Tsushima 2. It is best to keep expectations low since the developers themselves hinted that it will take a while before their next project.

If you’re gonna be one of the final big titles on a console, you’re kind of necessarily one of the trailing groups getting on to the next hardware and that’s kind of where we are.

Brian Fleming is the co-founder of the studio and was honest about the challenges he and his colleagues faced. The studio is among the top contributors of PlayStation Studios and isrequired to get a gist of the impressive capabilities of the next hardwarethe PlayStation 5.

That all said I think I’m particularly nerdily excited about haptic feedback in the controller. We talked about how we really love how controllers kind of connect [you to the game], and anything that gives us more ability to give the player better tactile feedback about what’s going on I think will be a big deal.

The gaming community is prepared for Ghost of Tsushima 2.

Developing video games on next-generation hardware could be a daunting task but the developers were more than up it. The previous game the developers worked on the 2020 samurai title wasInfamous: Second Sonwhich was an early PlayStation 4 title that looked stunning and comparable to most modern games which is a testament to the team’s talent.

Ghost of Tsushima’s Steam Tenure Off to the Worst Possible Start

Triple-A gaming experiences are rare these days and Sucker Punch Productions will not risk their reputation being tarnished by rushing. Great experiences require time and that is the gambit. It may not be the ideal hand to be dealt with but PlayStation Studios has put out great video games over the years and this sequel will not be any different.

The developers are wise to take all the time to get their bearings for the PS5 and the result will be worth the wait. The patience of the gaming community will be rewarded in time.
