Daredevil: Born Againmay have committed one mistake that may ruin the entire format of the series for fans. Earlier, Marvel learned its lesson and reversed many of the decisions it took to give the Charlie Cox series a complete overhaul. Writers and showrunners were changed to make the series more connected with its first three seasons on Netflix.

However, Cox hinted at one thing about the series that has concerned many fans. When asked if fans would see any of the familiar faces from the MCU, Cox shared that there will be a couple of“fun”collisions in the series. Fans believe that the cameo appearances would potentially take away the grounded aspect of the series.

Some of the fans demanded that the series focus on the story first like its earlier Netflix version. They also shared that cameo-p*rn was the last thing that the franchise needed right now. Some of the fan reactions read:
focus on the story first and foremost if there’s one thing MCU needs less of it’s Cameo-porn

Don’t ruin a good show by pouring the cameo fest.

Why Are Cameos Bad ForDaredevil: Born Again?
According toRadioTimes, about 60 characters are reportedly appearing in the series, of which many could be cameos from the MCU universe. It is not in the style of the original Netflix show to bring in numerous characters without giving them proper attention.Daredevilgained acclaim for its focus on the street-level side of the Marvel universe, the little details, and the characters.

In particular, the show explored the backstories, the tragedies, and the hardships of several of the show’s characters. The cameos and crossovers will probably take the heart out of the show that fans came to love so much. A generic story with no emotional investment is not likely to work in favor of the series.
The only possible cameo fans might want to see is a street-level Spider-Man, which would serve as a teaser to the fourthSpider-Manfilm. Dario Scardapane, the writer-producer ofThe Punisher, is currently helming the show.
Daredevil: Born Againwill be released on Disney+ in March 2025.
