During an interview withLADBible, the 27-year-old shared that he had lost a role inCillian Murphystarrer BBC show. He said,“I actually auditioned for Peaky Blinders, and I did not get the part.”

He never revealed the specific part, but the show’s creator,Steven Knight, believes it was significant. While attending the series’ season 6 premiere, the creator said,“It must have been quite a big role he was auditioning for.”Knight further added:
“If he wants to come back for the film, we’ll have him. Time to don your cap and practise your Brummie accent Tom!”
Harry Kirton, who plays Finn Shelby on the show, toldDigital Spythat the Marvel star could be a good fit for Michael Gray’s role:
“Him being, obviously, a hugely successful actor and a solid actor at that, he must have gone up for a main role. I don’t know how long ago he went to audition. It could have been a recent thing, so he could have come on as a villain or something.”
Holland could definitely bring a fresh vibe to thePeaky Blindersworld. His youthful energy and acting skills might fit well with the gritty setting of the show.

The wait for thePeaky Blindersmovie is nearly over! After teasing fans for a while, creator Steven Knight confirmed filming is set to begin in“mid-2024.”

Adding to the excitement, Knight revealed (viaRadio Times) the movie will explore“a sort of untold story that happened in the Second World War, which Peakys are going to be involved in.”
