Janic Combs reportedly raised Diddy as a single mother. The rapper has spoken about his poverty-filled upbringing many times before and attributed his aspirational behavior to wanting to get out of such dire situations. So, as soon as I got here I went to the library and I did some research…And when I typed in my father’s name and the day he died, I read in the Amsterdam News that he had been murdered in a drug deal gone bad. Right there in that library, I realized there’s nothing greater than a mother’s love and desire to protect her child.
The rapper is currently detained in the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn and according to the BBC, is likely to face more than 100 lawsuits for sxual assault and rpe.
