The show, which has been going on successfully since 2021, was revealed to come to an end with Season 4 as James Gunn gears up to introduce a new Superman on the silver screen.

However, the stars of the series are not ready to quit their long run in the DC superhero universe. During the San Diego Comic-Con panel, theSuperman & Loisduo expressed their wish to be Batman and Catwoman in the new DC Universe.

With the CW seriesSuperman & Loiscoming to an end,Tyler Hoechlinand Elizabeth Tulloch have expressed their desire to play another DC character in the future.

The 36-year-old actor has portrayed Clark Kent, aka Superman, since his 2016 debut inSupergirl, and has reprised his role across multiple CW Arrowverse shows, includingArrow, The Flash, Batwoman, andLegends of Tomorrow.

During his appearance at San Diego Comic-Con, Hoechlin revealed his desire to play another DC character. When asked about future roles, he mentioned the dark knight of the DC universe, Batman.

“Am I allowed to say this? We’re not coming back for another season – Batman, there… I love Batman,”he said, as perScreenRant. The actor also shared that he would love to portray a DC villain in the future.

In a recent conversation with ComicBook, Tyler Hoechlin reflected on portraying the role of Superman nearly for a decade. Talking about his journey in the CW show, he discussed his evolution from making guest appearances in the Arrowverse to starring in his own series.

I don’t think grown, I think it just evolved with the show — I think going from guest starring on the other shows and the Arrowverse and then coming into this… We had some really great conversations going into the show about how it would be different.
