The actor was recently interrogated at the Munich airport for three hours because he failed to declare an expensive watch that he had in his luggage. Cue the handcuffs and the interrogation, Arnold Schwarzenegger recently talked about the incident but his jokes did not stop.
Arnold Schwarzenegger Talked About His Recent Encounter
Being 76 years old, the world was indeed shocked when veteran actor Arnold Schwarzenegger was held at Munich airport. Failing to declare an Audemars Piguet watch which cost around $28,000, the actor was inspected for more and interrogated for 3 hours at the airport.

In a video obtained byTMZ, Schwarzenegger talked about his recent encounter at the airport. Talking about the handcuffs and how the conversation with the customs officer went,Arnold Schwarzeneggerdid not stop cracking raunchy jokes about his encounter and why the handcuffs had to be involved.
“You always start things with a lot of drama. That’s what you saw yesterday. And do you believe that? That all of a sudden I was in handcuffs? I was in handcuffs. Not because of the watch or the customs office but because I had a hot night with my girlfriend Heather last night. It was unbelievable.”
Adding one joke after the other, the actor further continued,
“No, but seriously the woman at the customs office said, ‘If you don’t behave, I’m going to put you in handcuffs.’ And I said, ‘That’s OK. That’s a great deal because usually I pay $500 for that.’”
It seems that the actor had some leftover anger from the event since in his jokes, he mentioned the fact that he tried to do something nice but he joked that he wasn’t able to sit down!

Although it is just a joke, it seems that thePredatoractor cannot let go of the situation. With the customs officer searching for a second watch, Schwarzenegger joked that he couldn’t find it because it was hidden someplace special.
“Because, here you go, you try to bring this great watch … this very special watch. Now they find it in the luggage, then the guy is looking for a second watch. He couldn’t find it. Because I was hiding it. But I cannot tell you where because I can’t sit down today.”
With the actor hiding the second watch and being unable to sit (two completely unrelated experiences), it seems that Schwarzenegger had quite an experience at the Munich airport. The actor did recall it as“a wild experience”but let’s hope that the actor won’t have to go through anything like this ever again.
