Gabriel Macht, who played the lead Harvey Specter inSuits, earlier announced his return to the spin-off series. Markle shared that she called her agent and asked to be put back in the audition room for a second chance. She shared that she always tried to“take the bull by its horn”just like Rachel in the series. However, her agent told her to focus on the next audition. Markle shared:
Actually, when I went in to audition for it, I thought I blew my audition. I remember leaving, calling my agent, and saying, ‘I don’t think I did a good job in that room, and I need to get back in there.’ So automatically, Rachel and I, very similar: ambitious, driven, and always trying to take the bull by its horns. My agent just said, ‘There’s nothing I can do. Just focus on your next audition.’

However, she didn’t know at the time that she had nailed the audition. She shared that when she was complaining about her ‘bad’ audition, the makers were putting together a test deal for her as they loved her performance. She shared,“Maybe that’s where I’m similar to Rachel, in that I’m harder on myself than anyone else might be.”
Fans have a renewed interest in Markle’s character after the trailer for the newSuitsspin-off was released. Creator Aaron Korsh was asked about thepotential return of Markle’s Rachel, Patrick J. Adams’ Mike Ross, and Sarah Rafferty’s Donna during an X Q&A session (via NZ Herald). He had a simple answer,“Remains to be seen. I am open.”

This value is her combined wealth with her husband. However, Macht only has an estimated net worth of $8 million in 2024, something he shares with his wife and actress, Jacinda Barrett.
